The session of Mykolaiv City Council did not continue on September 3. An hour after the meeting started, the number of deputies was insufficient to make decisions, and the session had to be adjourned.

This was reported by MikVisti.

Although at the beginning of the session the minimum number of deputies was present to make decisions (31), within an hour their number had decreased to 26. Despite repeated registrations and appeals from Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, the required quorum was not reached.

In this regard, Senkevych announced a break in the meeting. The next attempt to hold the session will take place on Thursday, September 4, at 11:00. Important issues remain on the agenda, including changes to the budget, reform of the housing and utilities program, and about 60 land issues.

The session started on August 28. In total, there are 70 issues on the agenda. Among them is one key budgetary issue - on amendments to the Program for Reforming and Developing Mykolaiv's Housing and Utilities for 2025-2029, which is aimed at improving the work of utilities and management of urban infrastructure.

In addition, the deputies will consider 12 current issues related to community life and 56 land issues, including determining the conditions for the use of city land, changes in land use and approval of new plots for social and commercial facilities.

Among the issues of the session are the approval of the list of small-scale privatization of municipal property to be sold at auction, as well as the determination of the waste sorting entity in Mykolaiv and consideration of the refusal to approve the agreement with this entity.
