The occupiers are threatening to strike retail outlets in Kherson

Russian forces continue to terrorize the civilian population of the Kherson region and are openly threatening new attacks on civilian infrastructure in the regional capital.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

According to him, Russian propaganda outlets are now spreading reports of possible attacks on retail outlets in Kherson.

“Russian terrorists are once again openly threatening to shell Kherson’s civilian infrastructure. This time, enemy sources are announcing strikes on the city’s retail outlets,” Prokudin noted.

The regional head urged Kherson residents to exercise the utmost caution, avoid being on the streets unless absolutely necessary, steer clear of crowded areas, and be sure to respond to air raid sirens and other danger alerts.

Authorities emphasize that the situation remains tense, and Russian troops continue to deliberately target civilian facilities and peaceful residents of the Kherson region.

Recently, Russian forces attackedacommuterbusin the Korabelny district of Kherson using a drone. One man was killed in the strike, and two others, including the driver, were injured.

In addition, Russian forces attackeda hospitalin Bilozirka, Kherson Oblast, with artillery and FPV drones. Two nurses and a hospital employee were injured in the shelling, and the hospital building and nearby residential homes were damaged.

In addition, an employeeof an energy company was killed in Kherson as a result of a Russian drone attack. At the time of the strike, the man was performing emergency repair work.

Earlier, on May 24, Russian troops launched an artillery strike on a market area in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The attack killed two people and wounded seven other civilians.
