The "first interregional congress of mothers and wives of participants of the special military operation" under the Ukrainian name "Berehynia" was held in occupied Simferopol on the occasion of Russian Mother's Day.

According to Holos Kryma, the "congress" was attended by more than 250 wives and mothers of participants in the war against Ukraine, mostly from the temporarily occupied territories - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, certain districts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as from Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation.

Kremlin protege Aksyonov verbally "bowed at the feet" of the participants of the event for their relatives fighting against Ukraine and called the latter "very good decent guys on whom the country is based," saying that thanks to them, the residents of the occupied peninsula "today have the opportunity to work, create, and create."

According to the media controlled by the Russian occupiers, the "congress" was aimed at "uniting, moral and psychological support for the families of the defenders of the fatherland." It allegedly became "the first platform in Russia for discussions and exchange of experience among the families of military personnel in order to provide practical and volunteer support to soldiers, as well as prepare them for their return to civilian life" and "an important step towards creating an effective support system for the participants of the "svo" and their families, an example for other regions of the country."

Earlier, in order to reach every resident with its propaganda, the occupation authorities offered residents of the occupied territories to replace the satellite that receives Ukrainian channels with equipment fromRusskiy Mir LLC free of charge. Previously, the occupied territories had a so-called "favorable exchange", under which the satellite equipment of Russkiy Mir was provided free of charge, but subscribers had to pay for the installation service. Now, installation is possible at no additional cost.
