The head of the district shopping center in Odesa enriched by 45 million

Police conducted 44 searches of current and former heads of territorial recruitment and social support centers, including in Odesa.

According to the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Oblast, in particular, the head of the district recruitment center in Odesa acquired assets worth more than UAH 45 million during his tenure.

The searches also documented facts of illicit enrichment and cases of false declarations by officials worth almost UAH 92 million.

The police are documenting the activities of both current and former officials of the TCC and the JV, who, according to the investigation, may have used their positions to obtain illegal income. We are talking about heads of departments, groups, territorial recruitment and social support centers, as well as their officials.

For example, the amount of discrepancy between the assets in the declaration of one of the assistant chiefs of the combined MTC and JV and the real state is UAH 10 million, and the amount of discrepancy between the assets in the declaration of a former officer of the recruitment and staffing department of another RTCC is UAH 6.6 million.

As part of the criminal proceedings, searches were conducted at the suspects' residences, offices and vehicles in 16 regions of the country.

Tesla cars of various models, motorcycles, cash in national and foreign currency, various agreements, including an agreement on receiving non-refundable financial assistance in the amount of one million hryvnias were seized. The seized documents may serve as grounds for legalization of the proceeds of crime.

In addition, within a few days, law enforcement officers drew up more than 150 reports on violation of restrictions on concurrent employment and combining with other activities, violation of financial control requirements and violation of requirements for preventing and resolving conflicts of interest.
