On the afternoon of August 6, Russian occupation forces attacked the Odesa region with drones. The enemy strike hit a facility in the Odesa district, near which a shelter is located.
According to Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, cars caught fire on the factory grounds following the strike. One person was killed instantly. Eight others were injured, seven of whom were hospitalized.

The State Emergency Service clarified that the attack caused passenger cars in the parking lot to catch fire, as well as dry grass over a large area near the facility.
State Emergency Service spokesperson Marina Averina reported that an enemy drone struck near a shelter.

The fires were quickly extinguished. Thirty-four rescue workers and eight pieces of specialized equipment were deployed to fight the blaze. All emergency and specialized services continue to work at the scene.
Law enforcement officials are documenting yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation against the civilian population.
