The enemy shelled 32 towns and villages in Kherson region: there are casualties

Over the past 24 hours, 32 settlements in Kherson region came under Russian shelling and drone attacks. The enemy destroyed residential areas and infrastructure, and there are civilians killed and wounded.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

From August 15 to August 16, 2025, 32 settlements in the Kherson region came under fire from Russian artillery and drone attacks. Among them are Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Dariivka, Dniprovske, Kachkarivka, Stanislav and the city of Kherson.

The occupants targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The shelling damaged a multi-storey building, 14 private houses and a number of outbuildings.

Over the past day, Russian aggression claimed three lives and injured twelve civilians.

Around 08:00, Russian occupants shelled the center of Kherson with artillery. As a result of the attack, a 52-year-old man sustained an explosive injury, and another 40-year-old resident of Kherson sustained an explosive injury and contusion.

A 45-year-old woman at home was also hit by shelling, she sustained concussion and head injuries. Two more residents of Kherson region were killed in the Russian attack.

Earlier, the enemy attacked Shlyakhove in the Beryslav community, killing two men aged 86 and 56. Three medical workers were hospitalized with explosive injuries and contusions - a woman of 47 and a man of 28.

At about 10:30, Russian troops shelled Mykilske. A 54-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs.

Over the previous day, Russian drones and artillery struck 44 settlements in the region. Residential areas and social infrastructure facilities came under fire: a multi-storey building, 22 private houses, gas pipelines, outbuildings and a private car were damaged. The attacks killed one person and injured five others, including a child.
