The enemy damaged 15 houses in the Kherson region

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Over the past day, Russian forces shelled the Kherson region with drones, aircraft, and artillery. Five high-rise buildings and 10 private homes were damaged. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The occupiers also damaged a cell tower, a gas pipeline, a minibus, agricultural equipment, and private cars.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>One person was killed as a result of the shelling, and 11 others were injured. Among the injured was a child. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>According to Oleksandr Prokudin, Kherson may be without electricity and heat not just for hours or days, but for an extended period. He urged people to prepare for this now.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>“Together with city authorities, utility services, energy providers, and the government, we are already working on alternative options for heat and power supply. But once again, I appeal to the residents of Kherson, especially families with children and the elderly: if you have the means, or relatives or friends in safer regions—leave!” he said. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration also stated that the authorities will assist those who decide on their own to

to evacuate on their own<span><span><span><span><span><span>by providing transportation, housing, and social support.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Earlier, as a result of</span></span></span></span></span></span>shelling, all heat- and power-generating equipment remaining at the Kherson Thermal Power Plant was completely destroyed. It is known that the plant’s grounds were struck by four guided aerial bombs (GABs) at once.

Earlier,Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, officially announced the risk of disruptions tothecity’sheating seasonfollowing a meeting of the regional commission on technological and environmental safety and emergency situations.

This concerns the implementation of a project to decentralize the city’sheat supplysystem. If it is not completed on time, more than 500 apartment buildings could be left without heat this winter due to Russian shelling of the centralized system.
