The Council of Justice dismissed a judge from the Odesa region whose husband has business interests in Poland

The High Council of Justice dismissed Olga Svizha, a judge of the Velyka Mykhailivka District Court in Odesa Oblast.

According to the High Council of Justice, the judge resigned of her own accord.

Intent analyzed Olga Svizha’s annual declaration for 2025. In it, she listed six properties, two cars, and her husband’s stake in a Polish company. The family’s total declared annual income exceeded 424,000 hryvnias.

Among the real estate properties, the judge listed a 108.2-square-meter apartment in Khmelnytskyi. Its value as of the date of acquisition in 2010 was 757,400 hryvnias. The apartment is also used by her husband and three sons.

The declaration also lists another apartment in Khmelnytskyi with an area of 46.1 square meters. The judge owns half of this property, while the other half is owned by two other co-owners. The value of the entire apartment as of the date of acquisition is listed at 10,144 hryvnias.

The family also declares three land plots and another one owned by her husband, with a total area of over 3.1 hectares. Two plots, each measuring 1.5 hectares, are leased to the “Letava” agricultural production cooperative.

Separately, Olga Svizha listed an unfinished residential building in the village of Skarzhynci with an area of 102 square meters. She acquired ownership of it in 2012. The value of the property is not specified in the declaration.

The judge declared a 2015 Volkswagen e-UP. The car was purchased in 2024 for 173,700 hryvnias. Olga Svizha is the owner, but her husband also uses it.

Another car is a 2014 Volkswagen Passat. According to the declaration, its value as of the date of acquisition was 570,000 hryvnias. Volodymyr Svizhyi is listed as the owner, and the judge’s husband, Oleksandr Svizhyi, has the right to use it.

The judge’s husband, Oleksandr Svizhyi, owns 91.75% of the authorized capital of the Polish company “Rembud Warszawa,” registered in Warsaw. He acquired a stake in this company in 2017 for 196,500 hryvnias. He is also the ultimate beneficial owner.

The judge’s husband received over 73,000 hryvnias in rental income, social and insurance benefits, as well as charitable and humanitarian aid. The judge herself declared over 44,000 hryvnias in social benefits, rent, and “winter support.”
