After the strike on the warehouses near Odesa, the air was tested due to smoke

Due to heavy smoke caused by a large-scale fire at warehouses near Odesa, experts tested the air quality.

According to the Odesa Regional State Administration, on the night of September 22, Russia launched strikes against civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region. The enemy attack triggered a massive fire in the warehouse facilities. No casualties were reported.

Due to heavy smoke, experts conducted air quality measurements. According to their results, the levels of chemicals and combustion products do not exceed permissible limits. There is no threat to the public.

The Odesa Regional State Emergency Service press office added that rescue workers operated under extremely difficult conditions.

No sooner had they managed to bring the flames under control than the air raid siren sounded again. Firefighters were forced to leave the scene and take cover.

The Russian army continues to terrorize Odesa and the region: air raid alerts are issued multiple times a day in the region, and explosions can be heard day and night—the occupiers are striking with “Shahed”-type jet drones, missiles, and guided aerial bombs.

For example, on September 20, the Russians struck a residential area in the Odesa region with a rocket-powered drone. A fire broke out at the impact site.

Prior to that, an administrative building on Serednofontanska Street in Odesa was attacked three times over the course of a day. A fire broke out on the upper floors of the building. At other locations, the strikes damaged the roofs, facades, and windows of two residential buildings, a passenger car, and a minibus, as well as a two-story educational facility.

In addition, a Russian jet-powered UAV struck the grounds of one of the enterprises in the Odesa region. Three tanker trucks were damaged as a result of the attack.
