The Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District had the largest grain harvest in the Odesa region

<span><span><span><span><span><span>As of August 1, 2026, agricultural enterprises in the Odesa region had produced more than 3.35 million metric tons of grains and legumes. The Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District emerged as the clear leader in gross grain production, with enterprises harvesting nearly 684,000 metric tons from an area of 132,200 hectares.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Podilsky District ranked second in production volume with 622,300 metric tons, while the Bolhradsky District came in third, harvesting over 597,000 metric tons of grain.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The highest yield was recorded by farms in the Bolhrad District, where an average of 52.3 centners per hectare was harvested. The Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi (51.6 centners per hectare) and Podilskyi (51.5 centners per hectare) districts also showed high efficiency. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>At the same time, the lowest average district yield was recorded in the Odesa District—43.0 centners per hectare, with a total gross harvest of 376,400 metric tons. In other parts of the region, figures range from 267,100 metric tons in the Izmail District to 450,300 metric tons in the Berezivka District.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In total, farmers in the region cultivated 697,3 thousand hectares of land, and the average yield for the region was 48.1 centners per hectare.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier, it was reported that agricultural production in the Mykolaiv region had increased by 27 percent. This sharp increase was driven by crop production. 

At the same time, livestock production on private farms decreased by 1.4%, and atcommercial enterprises—by 10.3%.

As of August 1, 2026, farms of all categories in the Mykolaiv region had harvested 2,507,900 metric tons of grains and legumes. Compared to the same period last year, the gross harvest increased by 32.1%.The grain yieldstands at 40.4 centners per hectare, which is 29.1% higher than last year’s figure.
