Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has recently ordered an aerial video survey of the site for further planning and ordering of a memorial project in honor of the city's citizens killed in the war with Russia.

During a regular meeting on this issue, the concept of the memorial was also presented, developed by architect David Pishchev in close cooperation with the military, and he became a guest of the Intent.Insight studio.

According to David Pishchev'sproposal, the memorial should include

This is the land of the former airport, which was purchased to expand the cemetery in 2014. It is obviously the property complex of the Zastava-2 airport, which was actually purchased for the cemetery.

David Pishchev is a PhD in architecture, a scholar and practitioner who works on the topic of preserving memory in the urban space.

Each week, Intent.Insight looks at one issue that worries Ukrainians and tackles topical issues and tries to solve specific problems, for example, the live episode on July 15 was devoted to discussing the problems of volunteer recreation.

The August 12 episode, which was the first after a short break, featured Ihor Koval, secretary of the Odesa City Council. On July 8, host Maria Lytianska talked to Vadym Drumov, CEO and co-founder of Hillel IT School. Together they were looking for answers to the following questions: how to bring IT people back to Ukraine? Is IT education promising here and now? What should modern employees and businessmen do to keep up with the times?
