Spouses killed in night attack in Odesa

The night attack on Odesa on April 24 killed a married couple, both 75 years old, and injured 15 citizens.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

Eight of the injured are in hospital. According to the State Emergency Service, the shell hit a three-story residential building, destroying apartments and starting a fire. Six people were injured. Two two-story residential buildings were destroyed, where firefighters rescued one person and evacuated 20 others (including two children). Seven people were injured. An enemy UAV also hit a two-story house, killing a husband and wife. One person was also injured there. 16 residents were evacuated from the building. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service worked at the scene of the tragedies all night, helping more than 50 residents (including three children) who were in a state of severe stress.
