The South Ukrainian NPP plans to reconstruct a backup sewage pipeline passing through the Tashlyk Reservoir. More than UAH 25 million is provided for the implementation of this project.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro procurement system.

It is planned to reconstruct the backup pipeline Du400 (culvert) of the pressure sewer through the Tashlyk Reservoir. The auction is scheduled for June 11, with bids accepted until June 10. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 250 thousand.

One of the conditions for participation is the provision of a bank or insurance guarantee recognized by Energoatom. Also, up to 10% of the bid score depends on the proposed warranty period. The terms of reference allow for the possibility of adjusting the deadlines at the request of the client.

At the request of a potential bidder regarding special permits for employees, the NPP replied that these requirements are being reviewed - since the facility is located outside the station and is not related to nuclear facilities, special permits may be canceled.

Payment for the works is provided for with a delay - within 180 days after the acceptance of the acts of completion. The selected contractor must complete the work by December 5, 2025.

Recently, a company owned by a deputy from Khmelnytsky region won a tender for the South Ukrainian NPP for more than UAH 50 million without competition. The State Audit Service has already taken an interest in the tender and started monitoring it.

This is not the first time that South Ukrainian NPP has been involved in cases related to embezzlement of budget funds, abuse of office and suspicious tenders. In April, the court allowed investigators to seize documents from a company suspected of misappropriating public funds allocated for one of the NPP projects. These materials should help in the investigation of corruption schemes.

In February, the court extended the preventive measure for the director of a company suspected of embezzlement during the overhaul of the waterproofing of the PSP basin. Earlier, in August 2024, the case of four people accused of embezzling UAH 12.3 million during the purchase of air conditioning systems was brought to court.
