Shelling in Kherson region: Russians kill a man and wound 13 others

Yesterday, on December 5, the Russian military shelled 39 localities, including the city of Kherson and nearby villages. As a result of Russian aggression, 1 person was killed and 13 others were injured.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russians hit critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, they damaged 2 high-rise buildings and 15 private houses. The occupiers also damaged an outbuilding and private cars.

Antonivka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Ponyativka, Beryslav, Shyroka Balka, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Kizomys, Urozhayne, Prydniprovske, Naddnipryanske, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Veletsnoye, Vesele, Havrylivka, Dniprovske came under enemy fire and air strikes, Zelenivka, Zolota Balka, Ivanivka, Kozatske, Lvov, Mykilske, Mykolayivka, Mykhaylivka, Molodizhne, Monastyrske, Novooleksandrivka, Novotyanka, Odradokamyanka, Olgivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, Tyahyntsi, Ukrainka, Chervonyi Mayak and the city of Kherson.

At around 9:30 a.m., Russian troops attacked the Dniprovsky district of Kherson from a UAV. Two men, aged 65 and 67, were hit by the enemy. They sustained mine-blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to their legs. A 56-year-old woman also came under hostile attack in Korabelny district. She sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion and shrapnel wounds to her shoulder. In addition, a 49-year-old resident of Kherson, who was injured in the shelling around 10:00, turned to the hospital on his own. He was diagnosed with mine-blast trauma and contusion. Doctors are examining the victim.

Around 11:30 the enemy struck again at Korabelny district. As a result of the shelling, windows in an apartment building were smashed. Civilian cars parked nearby were also damaged. Among the victims is a woman who was outside during the shelling. She is currently under medical supervision. Later, an 84-year-old resident of Kherson, who was injured in the Russian shelling, was also admitted to the hospital. The victim was diagnosed with a mine-blast injury and a shrapnel wound to the thigh.

Another resident of Kherson who was in his car at the time of the attack was also injured as a result of the Russian shelling. The 25-year-old man received an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his leg. The victim went to the hospital on his own. In addition, a 53-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma, shrapnel wounds to his back and legs. At about 14:20, the occupants dropped explosives from a drone on him in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A 58-year-old resident of Kherson, who had been hit by a Russian drone in the afternoon, turned to the hospital. The man was diagnosed with an explosive injury, contusion and hypertensive crisis.

In the afternoon, the Russian occupation army attacked Komyshany. A 60-year-old man was injured as a result of the shelling. He sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as contusion. Around 14:40, a 74-year-old man who was on the street in Kherson came under Russian fire. He was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds to the head, shoulders, forearm and leg. The occupants once again dropped explosives from a drone on a resident of Antonivka. The 58-year-old man was diagnosed with mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his legs. Another man who came under Russian attack in Antonivka was taken to the hospital. He had a mine-blast injury, shrapnel wounds to his legs and torso.

In the evening, a man who had come under Russian fire in Antonivka during the day died in the hospital. Doctors fought for his life to the last, but his injuries were too severe. The deceased is currently being identified. In Vysokopillia , a local resident was injured as a result of an explosive device detonation. The 43-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma, partial amputation of his thighs and arm, and shrapnel wounds to his face.
