SBU sanatorium in Odesa finds 21 million for repairs

The Odesa Sanatorium of the Security Service of Ukraine has announced a tender to select a company to pay for the overhaul of the medical building.

This is stated in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

In particular, the project provides for major repairs in:

The auction with an expected purchase price of UAH 21 million 38.2 thousand is scheduled to take place on February 4, and the work should be completed by December 20, 2022.

It should be noted that on July 30, 2021, the sanatorium already tried to choose a company for this repair and even held a tender with three participants, which was won by Stroy Imperiya Limited Liability Company. The company was to receive UAH 19 million 356.9 thousand. However, on October 8 of the same year, the results of the tender were canceled due to the lack of further need for the purchase of goods, works and services.

"There is insufficient funding for the overhaul of the load-bearing structures and roof of the medical building, mud room, and hall of the medical building for the current year. Due to the fact that the building and part of the premises are in an extremely poor condition and insufficient funding (lack of 50% funding is the minimum amount required to start work), the repair and restoration work cannot be fully completed during the year," the commentary on the cancellation reads.

As a reminder, the Commercial Court of Odesa Oblast initiated proceedings on the claim of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office against Odesa Oblast Council, the Oblast Council's Department for Property Relations and Krok Vpered LLC to declare illegal and cancel the decisions, invalidate the contract of sale of non-residential buildings in building No. 13 on Lidersovskyi Boulevard with a total area of 2,615.2 square meters.

Specialists from the Southern Office of the State Audit Service of Ukraine believe that the Capital Construction Department of the Odesa City Council violated the law when it allocated more than UAH 7 million to Taurus for additional work on the restoration of the Liebman House in Odesa.

The Department of Engineering Protection of the City Territory and Coastal Development of the Odesa City Council held a tender to select a company that would be paid for the overhaul of the bank protection No. 1 (between traverses No. 2 and No. 3) and traverse No. 2 near the Arcadia beach of the second stage of landslide protection structures.
