The Security Service of Ukraine has served a notice of suspicion in absence to the heads of the occupation "Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation" in Crimea - Konstantin Skorupsky and his deputy Anton Lyaskovsky - over the abduction of 46 Ukrainian children during the temporary occupation of Kherson.

This was reported by the SBU.

According to the investigation, the suspects personally organized and accompanied the removal of children aged one to five from a local orphanage to Simferopol. The children were placed in the so-called "Yalynka Children's Home" in Crimea.

Skorupsky and Lyaskovsky are local residents who supported the Russian occupation of the peninsula back in 2014 and agreed to work for the occupation authorities. They are charged with violation of the laws and customs of war under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The SBU emphasized that comprehensive measures are currently being taken to bring both traitors to justice for crimes against Ukrainians.

Intent has already written that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Kherson region, 229 children have suffered. Of these, 39 were killed and 190 received injuries of varying severity. This happened due to numerous war crimes recorded by the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. In total, more than a thousand criminal proceedings have been registered, of which 294 relate to crimes directly against children.

Meanwhile, prosecutors have filed a case against two Russian citizens suspected of illegally deporting Ukrainian children. The defendants are a member of the State Duma of Russia, a confidant of the leader of the Fair Russia party, and the wife of this politician.

Earlier, a program for the return and reintegration of children abducted by Russia, including orphans, was presented in Kherson. This program is being implemented as part of the presidential initiative Bring Kids Back UA.
