Ukrainian troops conducted a precision strike on enemy air defense systems in the occupied Crimea. Reducing the enemy's ability to detect attacks has created new opportunities for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully attacked Russian air defense assets on the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. According to the Navy, the Ukrainian military destroyed the Nebo-U radar station located near Yevpatoriya, as well as the Pantsyr-S-1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system.

Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk noted that Russians usually try to restore destroyed surveillance systems as soon as possible, as they are well aware that their destruction leaves the objects that these systems covered defenseless.

He explained that in the past, it has been repeatedly observed that after reports of damage to equipment, information about the damaged objects it was protecting later appeared.

According to Pletenchuk, even without specific forecasts, any reduction in the enemy's ability to detect attacks by Ukrainian troops is a significant advantage for the defense, as it reduces the enemy's potential and increases the effectiveness of subsequent operations.

Recently, intelligence officers spotted a base for Russian unmanned boats in Sevastopol. These units operate within the structure of the Russian Black Sea Fleet's basing points and are used to patrol coastal waters, as well as to counter attacks by Ukrainian maritime drones.

According to the intelligence, the facility has a developed infrastructure with berths and is under heavy security. Firing positions have been set up around the perimeter, observation posts are constantly on duty on the roofs of buildings and piers, and the entire territory is additionally patrolled and monitored by video surveillance systems.
