Russian Occupiers Demand Stronger Mobilization in Kherson Region Amid Growing Resistance

The Russian occupiers on the Left Bank of the Kherson region are dissatisfied with the pace of mobilization to the Russian army, so they demand to strengthen mobilization measures.

According to ATES, this was reported by their agent from the occupation military commissariat in Genichesk. According to him, the Russians are tacitly demanding to strengthen mobilization measures to improve statistics.

"The occupation authorities expected that billboards and advertising would attract volunteers to serve. However, the reality turned out to be different - there are practically no volunteers. Moreover, resistance is growing in the region: the number of sabotage attacks is increasing, and local authorities do not know how to influence this," the statement said.

ATES calls on residents of the temporarily occupied territories to avoid mobilization and to pass on any information about such events to the movement.

"Join the ATES movement and contribute to the fight against the occupiers," the activists added.

Earlier, the occupation authorities in the TOT approved the so-called "Plan for the preparation of citizens for military service in the military specialties of the Russian Federation". This means that young men who have not entered military "universities" in the TOT or have been expelled for refusing to participate in propaganda activities may be subject to forced mobilization this year.

The Russian occupation administration is also actively implementing the militarization of education in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. As part of this campaign, nearly 200 schools have already been renamed after the so-called "heroes of the Russian Federation" - Russian military personnel who participated in the war against Ukraine. In the occupied Kerch State Maritime Technical University, students are forced to register for the so-called military service in order to receive a scholarship.
