Russian Military Prepares for Strikes Amid Air Defense Vulnerabilities

The Russian military, which maintains air defense systems in the temporarily annexed Crimea, is preparing for large-scale strikes in the coming days. In particular, the invaders are trying to avoid staying at their positions between February 24 and 26.

This was reported by the Atesh guerrilla movement, which received this information from its agents among the Russian military.

According to the guerrillas, there are conflicts among the occupiers about the possibility of taking a vacation on these days, and some resort to tricks, faking illness to get to the hospital and avoid attacks.

Meanwhile, the Russian command realizes the critical vulnerability of its air defense, especially after the relocation of some military units from Crimea to Russia. Therefore, the invaders are stepping up counter-sabotage security measures, fearing leaks of data on the exact location of their air defense systems.

Nevertheless, local residents and the Russian military themselves continue to pass on the coordinates of enemy installations to Ukrainian forces. The Atesh movement emphasized that the situation is developing in such a way that the occupiers may soon lose even more anti-aircraft missile systems.

"Local residents and the Russian military themselves continue to transmit data on air defense positions in Crimea. Everything is going to the point that in the near future there will be even fewer installations," the statement said.

Recently, the Russian military has been actively moving equipment in Crimea after attacks by Ukrainian UAVs.

Earlier, the Russian military increased the number of air defense systems near key Russian military facilities in occupied Crimea. At the same time, they have weakened the defense of other frontline areas.

The guerrillas also discovered that the Russians have begun to redeploy their aircraft to inactive airfields. For example, the occupiers are working on runways, repairing buildings and moving military equipment and people to Zavodske airport in the temporarily occupied Simferopol.
