Russian forces struck an educational institution in the Kherson region and a gas station in Mykolaiv

<span>Residents of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions once again endured a day of shelling and drone strikes. The enemy targeted civilian infrastructure, leaving behind the dead, the wounded, and widespread destruction.</span>

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops shelled 11 settlements in the Kherson City Territorial Community over the past 24 hours.

The shelling damaged private homes and apartment buildings, civilian vehicles, a trolleybus, an educational institution, a utility building, and critical infrastructure facilities.

The occupiers also destroyed a store, a gas station, agricultural equipment, a trolleybus, and private vehicles.

As a result of the Russian aggression, two people were killed and another 16 were wounded.

According toGeorgiy Reshetilov, acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Russian troops also attacked southern Ukraine in the morning using Shahed/“Gerbera”-type strike drones. In Mykolaiv, the attack damaged two gas station buildings and shattered windows in a high-rise building. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

In addition, the day before, Russian forces twice attacked the Halytsynivska community in the Mykolaiv district with “Molniya”-type drones. During one of the strikes in the village of Prybuzke, two men, aged 43 and 55, were injured. Both were hospitalized; doctors currently assess their condition as moderate but stable.

A passenger car was also damaged as a result of the attack in Prybuzke. Ukrainian emergency services continue to address the aftermath of the shelling and document the damage caused.

On July 19, Russian forces attacked more than 40 settlements in the Kherson region. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and 25 others were wounded, including four children.
