Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked more than 40 settlements in the Kherson region. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and 25 others were wounded, including four children.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, and the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

Kherson and more than 40 other settlements in the region came under Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling.

According to the Regional State Administration, the occupiers targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. Eleven high-rise buildings and nine private homes were damaged, along with a farm building, cell towers, an ambulance, and private vehicles.

As a result of the Russian aggression, 25 people were injured, including four children. Additionally, 11 residents were evacuated from the region’s liberated communities over the past 24 hours.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that on the evening of July 18, a Russian drone attacked a residential building in Kherson. Four people were injured, including two boys aged 10 and 14, as well as a 45-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman. All of the injured were hospitalized.

That same evening, a 14-year-old girl and a 75-year-old woman were injured in a drone attack on the village of Tavriiske. They received outpatient medical care.

On the morning of July 19, Russian forces carried out an airstrike using guided bombs on one of the villages in the Bilozerka community. Rescuers recovered the body of a 75-year-old woman who had died under the rubble of a destroyed house. Two other women, aged 53 and 54, were injured and hospitalized.

Law enforcement officials have launched pre-trial investigations into the Russian attacks under the article on war crimes. Prosecutors, together with investigators, are documenting the consequences of Russia’s armed aggression.

As a reminder, on July 17, three people were killed and 18 others were injured as a result of Russian strikes.

In addition, following the KAB strikes, residents of Kherson began leaving dangerous areas of the city and relocating to relatively safer neighborhoods. Some residents are also leaving the city due to intensified Russian shelling.
