Russian attacks in Kherson region kill one person, wound 11 others

Yesterday, Russian troops massively attacked Kherson region with drones, aircraft and artillery. Kherson and 30 other settlements in the region were hit.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the occupiers hit social infrastructure and residential areas. The attacks damaged four high-rise buildings, 17 private houses, a cell tower, gas pipelines and private cars.

According to him, one person was killed and 11 other residents were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

Nine people were evacuated from the liberated communities in the region. Residents of dangerous areas are urged to move to safer places.

Recently, Russian troops shelled a church and a police checkpoint in Kherson region.

The occupiers massively shelled Kherson and Beryslav districts using artillery, mortars, multiple rocket launchers and drones. The attacks hit 34 settlements in the region.

According to police, two people were killed and 20 others were injured in the attacks. Eight private houses, a church, a bus, a minibus, two civilian cars, and a police car were destroyed.

On May 21, ten people were injured as a result of Russian aggression. In addition, the shelling damaged two high-rise buildings and six private houses. The occupiers also damaged a cell tower, a production workshop, a private garage, and the cars of local residents.

As a reminder, on May 14, in the Korabelny district of Kherson, the Russian military attacked the vehicles of the UN humanitarian mission from a drone. The attack took place despite international norms that prohibit the shelling of humanitarian missions and civilian vehicles used to help the population.

The occupiers also dropped explosives from a drone on a street in Kherson. A 68-year-old local resident was hit. The woman died on the spot from her injuries.
