10 people wounded in Kherson region as a result of Russian attacks

Russian troops have once again attacked settlements in the Kherson region, striking at critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, ten people were injured as a result of Russian aggression. All the injured are being provided with the necessary medical care.

In addition, the shelling damaged two high-rise buildings and six private houses.

The occupants also damaged a cell tower, a production workshop, a private garage and the cars of local residents.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on May 20, 2026, two civilian men were injured in the village of Rakivka after an FPV drone hit a milk truck.

A woman in Bilozerka was also injured in a drone attack. In Kherson, a man was injured when he stepped on a mine.

In addition to residential buildings, vehicles and a school's production workshop were damaged.

Prosecutors and police investigators are documenting the consequences of the attacks and war crimes committed by the Russian military.

The authorities urge residents who wish to leave for safer regions to contact the regional contact center for information on evacuation.

As a reminder, on May 14, Russian military attacked the vehicles of the UN humanitarian mission from a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson. The attack took place despite international norms that prohibit the shelling of humanitarian missions and civilian vehicles used to help the population.

The occupiers also dropped explosives from a drone on a street in Kherson. A 68-year-old local resident was hit. The woman died on the spot from her injuries.

On May 13, in Kherson, Russian occupants attacked public transport with a drone. A shuttle bus came under attack. Six passengers were injured, and the bus driver sustained a concussion. Later it became known that two victims were taken to the hospital - a 57-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man. They were diagnosed with contusions, explosive and closed head injuries.
