Russian army attacks port and high-rise buildings in Chornomorsk

At night, Russian drones attacked a port in Odesa region, causing fires and significant damage to infrastructure. Warehouses, hangars, administrative buildings, and residential buildings in Chornomorsk were damaged.

This was reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.

At night, the enemy launched a drone attack on one of the ports of Odesa region. The attack damaged warehouses, hangars, and administrative buildings. Containers and four cars caught fire in the port area, and two hangars were damaged.

According to the mayor of Chornomorsk, Vasyl Gulyayev, the city has once again come under enemy attack. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including multi-story residential buildings.

In the residential sector, the facade, roof and glazing of a private residential building were damaged, and an unfinished building was destroyed. A balcony and a gas pipe in a high-rise building also caught fire.

Currently, the territories are being inspected and the damage is being recorded. In the near future, utilities will join the response effort to clean up the area and restore the damaged infrastructure.

All necessary services, including the State Emergency Service, are working at the scene. The rescuers are promptly eliminating the consequences of the attack and fire. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

A person was killed and 12 others were injured, including a child, as a result of an enemy night attack on Odesa on March 28. A crow hit a maternity hospital. Damage and partial destruction were recorded in private and multi-storey buildings, as well as critical infrastructure facilities. The territory of the telecenter was also damaged.

On the night of March 29, the Russian army again struck at the civilian and energy infrastructure of Odesa region. The strikes damaged an energy facility. Also, one of the drones hit a private residential building, partially destroying the facade, and there is damage to the territory of a dacha cooperative.
