The enemy attacked the Kherson region with air strikes and shelling, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Two people were killed as a result of the aggression.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Over the course of the day from April 24 to April 25, more than two dozen settlements in the Kherson region came under shelling and air strikes, including Antonivka, Molodizhne, Sadove, Zelenivka, Prydniprovske, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Kostyrka, Kherson and many other towns and villages in the region.

The occupiers shelled residential areas and critical infrastructure, damaging three high-rise buildings, 15 private houses, a gas pipeline, a garage and private cars.

As a result of the aggression of Russian troops, two people were killed and three were injured.

On April 23-24, Russian troops launched massive strikes on Kherson and surrounding villages, targeting civilian objects. The shelling damaged at least six multi-storey buildings and eight private houses, and destroyed a pipeline, outbuildings, a garage, and a car. Ten people were wounded as a result of the enemy aggression.

More than 30 settlements in the region came under fire and air strikes between April 22 and 23. Residential areas and critical infrastructure facilities were hit: two high-rise buildings, 12 private houses, an ambulance and several cars were damaged. In total, 12 people were injured over the past few days, including one child.

The day before, Russian troops targeted residential areas and shops. The attacks killed three people and injured three others.

The shelling of the Kherson region did not stop, and during April 19-20, the occupiers targeted residential areas. At least four multi-storey buildings, 19 private houses, outbuildings, gas pipelines, garages and cars were damaged. Four people were injured in the strikes.

In response to the growing number of casualties, the Kherson regional authorities are planning to provide one-time financial assistance to the families of the deceased civilians. The funds will be allocated from the regional budget as part of social protection programs.
