On the morning of October 19, the Romanian Ministry of Defense scrambled two Romanian F-16s and two Spanish F-18s due to a "small airborne target" violating the border.

Thetarget was spotted in the Black Sea and was moving toward the Romanian border.

After the planes were raised in the surrounding areas, an air alert was recommended. The target was spotted at 2:30 a.m. and disappeared from radar south of Kojalak at about 4:30 a.m. The air alert was canceled at 5:10. In the morning, the Ministry of Defense organized a survey of the area in the area of the possible crash.

Meanwhile, on the night of October 19, Russians fired missiles at Odesa and hit the city's private sector, causing a fire.

The attack caused a three-story building and two nearby cars to catch fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by our firefighters. More than ten private houses were also damaged.

Preliminary, no one was injured. Law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of another Russian crime against the civilian population of Odesa region. Russian shelling damaged more than 300 port infrastructure facilities, including more than 100,000 tons of agricultural products.

On Thursday, October 17, Romania also scrambled four fighter jets after an unknown target crossed its airspace. Radar detected a "small airborne target" at around 17:00 in the Black Sea area, 150 km east of Constanta County. The target penetrated 14 kilometers into the country, but disappeared from the surveillance system around 19:20 east of Amzacă.

At the end of September, the wreckage of a Shahed attack drone was once again found on the territory of the Romanian community opposite the Ukrainian city of Izmail on the Danube.

In early September, a group of Russian Shahed attack drones violated Romanian airspace on the evening of September 7, which led to warnings to residents of Tulcea and Constanta counties about the risk of objects falling from the airspace.
