A resident of Kherson, who headed the occupation "Department of Labor and Social Policy", was suspected.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a local resident was served in absentia with a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in 2022, the suspect headed the "Department of Labor and Social Policy" of the Kherson City District, which was part of the so-called "Ministry of Labor and Social Policy". In his pseudo-position, he organized the activities of the "department" and its subordinate employees, took measures to provide material resources, received citizens for consultations and applications for social benefits, etc.
The pre-trial investigation is conducted by the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region.
Earlier it was reported that a law enforcement officer will be brought to court in Kherson region for his participation in organizing and conducting a pseudo-referendum. The investigation established that in September 2022, the accused participated in the organization and holding of a pseudo-referendum on secession from Ukraine and accession of the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region to Russia. The defendant, holding the position of "head of security" at a seized agricultural enterprise in the Bilozerska community, agitated employees to participate in the "vote". In case of refusal, he threatened them with non-payment of salaries. He also organized the movement and arrangement of a so-called "mobile polling station" on the territory of the enterprise.
It was also reported that the so-called "Deputy Minister of Health of Kherson region" was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
