Repairs, fuel and cars: what Mykolaivoblenergo spent a billion on

In 2025, JSC Mykolaivoblenergo spent more than UAH 1.1 billion on large-scale purchases, ranging from substation and line repairs to software and vehicles. The largest expense item was in August, when the company purchased electricity for a record UAH 772 million.

Intent analyzed the largest transactions through the Zakupivli.pro platform.

JSC Mykolaivoblenergo started the year with a series of large-scale purchases. About UAH 13 million was spent on electronic communication business networks, and almost UAH 14.4 million on electricity meters. Spare parts for vehicles cost more than UAH 12.5 million. A vacuum circuit breaker was ordered separately for 4.4 million.

The main expenditures were for the reconstruction of overhead power lines. UAH 5.5 million was planned for Novyi Buh and Nova Odesa, UAH 3.6 million for Varvarovka, UAH 2.2 million for Bratske, and another UAH 4.8 million for the Central and Korabelny districts of Mykolaiv.

In addition, the company repaired substations: in the Central district, the works cost UAH 15.2 million, in the Ingul district - UAH 6.5 million, and in the Zavodsky district - UAH 6.8 million. The company also planned to spend another UAH 14.5 million to repair overhead lines. In total, the company could have spent UAH 30.6 million on the reconstruction of overhead lines in January alone.

Purchases of fuel and materials were equally revealing. Diesel fuel cost UAH 10.6 million, gasoline - UAH 8.7 million, lubricants - UAH 4.1 million, and tires - UAH 6.5 million. Procurement also included technical materials.

Part of the budget was spent on software. Thus, UAH 3.7 million was spent on software packages, and UAH 5.1 million was spent on a billing software package. Telephone sets and keyboard modules cost another 3.8 million. The company spent 3.6 million on parts and accessories for copiers. The company also ordered a revision of the MicroSCADA software, for which it spent 7.5 million.

Electrical equipment was also a major expense. Electric distribution cables cost more than UAH 30 million, line supports - UAH 10 million, and metal cabinets - UAH 8 million. The most expensive item was the purchase of telemechanics cabinets, which cost almost UAH 35.7 million.

Separately, Mykolaivoblenergo ordered the development of design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of substations and lines for UAH 5.4 million.

One of the most expensive purchases was for power distribution cables, which cost more than UAH 40 million, and high-voltage cables - another UAH 4.2 million. Additionally, the company spent UAH 17 million on meters, including three-phase multi-tariff meters worth UAH 4.4 million.

In August, the company made one of the largest purchases of the year - electricity worth over UAH 772 million.

Another area of focus was the renewal of the vehicle fleet. The company purchased an IVECO-based brigade vehicle for UAH 8.3 million, a Mitsubishi L200 pickup for UAH 4.2 million, and a Peugeot Boxer for almost UAH 2.3 million. A drilling and crane machine was also ordered for UAH 3.7 million.

In September, the company announced several tenders. UAH 5.9 million was allocated for the reconstruction of the 35 kV switchgear at the 150/35/10 kV Domanivka substation to connect the Global-Sun SPP, and another UAH 5.3 million for the connection of the Suncraft SPP. In addition, UAH 5.7 million was planned for the reconstruction of the substation in Novopavlivka. Additionally, the company ordered special work and uniforms worth almost UAH 4 million.

According to estimates, in 2025, JSC Mykolaivoblenergo spent approximately UAH 1 billion 145 million on the most expensive purchases.

Also, in the first seven months of 2025, Mykolaivvodokanal spent more than 380 million on the most expensive purchases. Most of the money was spent on electricity, reconstruction of water pipes and chemicals.
