The Rector of Odesa Polytechnic National University, Hennadii Oborskyi, has published his income and property declaration for 2025. In the document, he indicated his real estate, car, and income for the year.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.

According to the declaration, Oborsky lives in Odesa with his wife Larysa Oborska. He owns three apartments. One of them, with an area of 91.2 m², was purchased in 2006 for 252.5 thousand hryvnias and is fully owned by the rector. The second one, with an area of 42 m², was purchased in 2016 and is also his personal property. The third apartment, with an area of 29.1 m², was purchased in 1995 and is jointly owned by the couple.

In addition, in 2008, he became the owner of an 800 m² land plot. Among the declared movable property is a 2012 Toyota RAV4 purchased in 2016 for UAH 194 thousand.

The main source of income of the rector in 2025 was his salary at the university - UAH 639,716. He also received a pension from the Main Department of the Pension Fund in Odesa region in the amount of UAH 283,320. His wife declared 35,830 hryvnias of income.

Last year, the CPR analyzed the declarations of heads of higher education institutions. Hennadii Oborskyi declared UAH 890,000 and was ranked fourth in the rating.

The declaration does not include bank deposits, corporate rights or other financial assets. Oborskyi holds a managerial position in a higher education institution that belongs to legal entities under public law and is classified as a position with increased corruption risks. At the same time, the document does not indicate the presence of foreign assets. He is also a member of the general meeting of the Polytechnic Odesa rugby club.

In addition, the rector of Odesa National Maritime University, Serhii Rudenko, filed an amended declaration after his dismissal, in which he listed his family's property, including real estate in Odesa and a car. Over the past year, he declared UAH 128,559 in salary from the university and UAH 2,297 in pension from the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast.
