Power will be cut off in Mykolaiv and communities of the region

On Saturday, May 31, power outages are planned in Mykolaiv region in a number of settlements and neighborhoods.

According to Mykolaivoblenergo, the temporary inconvenience will be caused by maintenance of power grids, major repairs and reconstruction of equipment.

In particular, power supply will be temporarily absent in the service area of Korabelna, Berezanska and Vradiyivska districts.

In the Korabelny district of Mykolaiv, outages are scheduled from 08:00 to 20:00 due to major repairs of the grids.

In Berezanska community, the works will last mainly from 17:00 to 20:00. The outages will affect residents of Berezanka, Lymanske, Matiyasove, Sosytske and Andriyevo-Zoryne.

Earlier, temporary power outages were planned for May 11 in Mykolaiv region due to repair, reconstruction and maintenance of power grids. Residents of a number of settlements and districts in the region will be temporarily left without electricity.

Recently, Mykolaiv region was again attacked by enemy drones of the Shahed type. The main target of the enemy was the region' s energy infrastructure.

As a reminder, as a result of the latest hostile attacks, a new regime of power outages was introduced in Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region due to limited network capacity.

In addition, on the morning of April 16, Russian troops attacked the energy infrastructure of Mykolaiv region, which led to large-scale power outages.

On March 18, hourly blackouts were introduced amid an emergency in the power grid.

The morning attack by Russian troops on Mykolaiv on February 22 damaged energy infrastructure facilities. The occupiers used Shahed attack drones, which led to large-scale blackouts in the city.

According to preliminary data, about 16,000 customers were left without electricity. Work is currently underway to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore power. It is reported that there were no casualties. Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore power.
