Some residents of Mykolaiv region will be left without electricity on May 11

Temporary power outages are planned for May 11 in Mykolaiv region due to repair, reconstruction and maintenance of power grids. Residents of a number of settlements and districts in the region will temporarily lose power.

This was reported by Mykolaivoblenergo. The outages will affect Mykolaiv, Korabelna, Varvarivska, Bashtanska, Voznesenska, Vradiyivska and Domanivska districts.

In particular, power outages are planned in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Slobidsky districts, on Kalynova, Ednist, Pishchana, Sokolets, Solovyina, Teplychna, Yantarna, Smerekova, Vavilova, Zakhidna, Dovzhenko, Oleinyuk, Shatalova streets, as well as in a number of lanes - Medychnyi, Hrushovyi, Zatyshnyi, Vyshneve, Buzkyi, Polunychnyi and others.

Electricity will also be temporarily cut off in Korabelnyi district and Varvarovka. The works will be carried out at different times of the day depending on the address and type of technical measures. Power supply is expected to be restored after the repairs are completed.

Residents of the region are urged to charge necessary devices in advance and take into account possible inconveniences due to the temporary absence of electricity.

Recently, Mykolaiv region was again attacked by enemy drones of the Shahed type. The main target of the enemy was the region' s energy infrastructure.

As a reminder, as a result of the latest hostile attacks, a new regime of power outages was introduced in Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region due to limited network capacity.

In addition, on the morning of April 16, Russian troops struck at the energy infrastructure of Mykolaiv region, which led to large-scale power outages.

Earlier, Intent wrote that on March 18, hourly blackouts were introduced in Mykolaiv amid an emergency in the power system.

The morning attack of Russian troops on Mykolaiv on February 22 damaged energy infrastructure facilities. The occupiers used Shahed attack drones, which led to large-scale blackouts in the city.

According to preliminary data, about 16,000 customers were left without electricity. Work is currently underway to eliminate the effects of the shelling and restore power. It is reported that there were no casualties. Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore power.
