The NABU and the SAPO conducted new searches in the case of possible misappropriation of funds of the state-owned enterprise Izmail Commercial Sea Port in the process of public procurement of large warehouse equipment and other equipment.

This is reported by Slovo i Dilo with reference to the decision of the HACC and the HACC Appeals Chamber.

According to the publication, detectives searched the apartment of Serhiy Solovyov, who, according to the investigation, controls KranTechElectro LLC, Port and Fleet LLC, and ExportTradeGroup LLC, which are involved in the investigation. During the search, a mobile phone and two laptops with correspondence of Izmail seaport employees regarding the purchase of cookers, engines, forklifts and spare parts for port equipment were seized.

The search also involved Solovyov's Audi E-Tron, in which two encrypted flash drives were found, and searches were conducted in the office premises, where a phone was seized. All seized property was recognized as material evidence and is subject to seizure.

Additionally, detectives searched the homes of other participants in the case, including the director of ExportTradeGroup LLC, Yevhen Kubytskyi, from whom they seized a cell phone with a memory card and business documents.

As part of this investigation, NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors conducted a series of searches and seized cell phones from two people involved in the case that may contain evidence of their involvement in criminal activities.

At the end of last week, the state-owned enterprise Izmail Commercial Sea Port signed an agreement with Odisei UA LLC to purchase road slabs. The overpayment may amount to more than UAH 10 million.

In June 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the candidacy of Vitaliy Levchenko for the position of Director of the State Enterprise "Izmail Commercial Sea Port".

Previously, Vitaliy Levchenko worked as the chief dispatcher of the Olvia port, a specialized seaport on the left bank of the Bug estuary, 25 kilometers from Mykolaiv.
