Philanthropists have installed two water towers in the garden of the Borozen community.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, at the initiative of the NGO Southern Development Strategy, the village has undergone a comprehensive water supply restoration, including the installation of two water towers with a volume of 25 cubic meters each, as well as the cleaning of two wells. Thanks to the assistance, about 230 residents of the village got access to clean water.

"We had a problem with water for a long time. This water was not recommended for drinking. It was suitable for technical needs, but it was impossible to cook food with it. It was usually dirty and muddy, more like water from a swamp," says local resident Olha.

HOVA noted that the project was implemented by the charitable organization Southern Development Strategy in cooperation with the joint office of Dan Church Aid and Norwegian Church Aid and Kirkens Nødhjelp with financial support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Earlier, the Shelter Foundation delivered a modern generator to the city of Beryslav in Kherson region, which suffers from constant enemy shelling, to ensure water supply during power outages. The cost of this generator is more than half a million hryvnias.
