On September 4, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted to dismiss four ministers, although it was planned to dismiss six.
This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Thus, the Rada supported the dismissal of Oleksandr Kamyshyn from the post of Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
"243 MPs voted in favor.
In addition, Olha Stefanishyna was dismissed from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine. Ruslan Strilets - from the post of Minister of Environmental Protection. Denys Malyusko - from the post of Minister of Justice.
It was also planned to dismiss Iryna Vereshchuk from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Vitaliy Koval, head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine , but the MPs failed to vote.
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak also added that the dismissal of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba was urgently withdrawn. The Rada ended the meeting without voting for his resignation.
"Something went wrong with Kuleba. They stopped the consideration and announced a break. The 'servants' who realized that it would fail opposed it," the MP said from the plenary hall.
Meanwhile, Suspilne 's sources in the Servant of the People faction said that the current first deputy of Kuleba, Andriy Sybiga, is likely to be appointed as the head of the Foreign Ministry.
In his evening address on September 3, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that autumn would be extremely important for Ukraine. He noted that state institutions should work in such a way that the country achieves the necessary results. To do this, it is planned to strengthen certain areas of the government, prepare personnel changes, and make changes in the President's Office.
Zelenskyy also emphasized the importance of closer cooperation between the central government and communities, especially in preparation for the winter season. In addition, he noted that the results achieved in defense production need to be further strengthened, in particular by making it easier to attract investment in strategic industries.
