People injured in Kherson region due to drone attack on civilians

During the day, the Russian army attacked the Kherson region with drones, artillery and aircraft. Residential buildings, cars and infrastructure were damaged. One person was killed and four people were injured.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Burgunka, Havrylivka, Dariivka, Dudchany, Zymivnyk, Zmiivka, Zolota Balka, Kozatske, Kachkarivka were hit on June 8-9, Kizomys, Kostyrka, Lviv, Mylove, Mykilske, Naddnipryanske, Novoberislav, Novooleksandrivka, Novotyanka, Oleksandrivka, Osokorivka, Poniativka, Stanislav, Sofiyivka, Stepanivka, Tomyna Balka, Tyahyntsi, Chervonyi Mayak, Shyroka Balka, and the city of Kherson.

The Russian military hit critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaged 5 high-rise buildings and 15 private houses. The occupants also damaged gas pipelines and private cars.

In the morning in Bilozerka<b> </b>, two local residents were injured as a result of a Russian UAV attack. The men, aged 40 and 43, were diagnosed with explosive injuries, contusions and concussions. Another resident of Bilozerka, who had been injured by Russian shelling the day before, also went to the hospital. The 77-year-old man, who was hit by a Russian shell in his yard, sustained explosive trauma, contusion and concussion.

At noon, Russian troops shelled Bilozerka with artillery. One of the shells "landed" near a house where a 34-year-old woman was living. In the afternoon, Russians attacked a residential building in Novooleksandrivka with a UAV. The building burned down due to a drone strike. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

At about 14:00, Russians attacked a car with a drone in the Korabel neighborhood of Kherson. As a result of the enemy attack, a 74-year-old man sustained explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds to his head. In addition, it became known that a resident of Antonivka was killed by a Russian drone attack on June 7. A 75-year-old man came under enemy fire. Unfortunately, he sustained injuries incompatible with life.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Russians have carried out more than 2,500 attacks on the Kherson city territorial community. For comparison, in 2024, there were almost three times as many - about eight thousand.
