In Kherson, Korabelny district is partially de-energized as a result of another enemy shelling.

This was reported by the head of Kherson MVA Yaroslav Shanko.

According to the local authorities, emergency repair work is currently underway. Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the strikes and restore electricity to the area.

It is not yet known when the power supply will be fully restored. The company promises to inform consumers about the power supply additionally.

Residents are urged to treat the situation with understanding and, if necessary, to use the "Points of Unbreakability" where they can receive basic services in the absence of electricity.

On April 16, after 10:00 a.m., a sudden power outage occurred in Kherson. Along with the power, the city lost water supply.

As a reminder, more than UAH 250 million from the reserve fund was allocated to protect the critical infrastructure of the Kherson community without open bidding and with one contractor for all facilities. The largest contracts were awarded to a company for which these projects provided more than half of all revenues.

Earlier, Intent wrote that on March 18, Mykolaiv introduced hourly power outages amid an emergency in the power grid.

As a reminder, the morning attack by Russian troops on Mykolaiv on February 22 damaged energy infrastructure facilities. The occupiers used Shahed attack drones, which led to large-scale power outages in the city.

It also became known that the energy sector of Kherson region will receive 1 million euros of financial assistance from the German region of Schleswig-Holstein. The grant funds will be used to technically strengthen the power system and eliminate the consequences of damage.
