One killed and three wounded in an enemy attack in Kherson region

Enemy forces launched massive attacks in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, using drones, aircraft and artillery. The attacks killed one person, wounded three others, and damaged housing and infrastructure in dozens of settlements.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, Russian troops continued massive attacks on the Kherson region using drones, aircraft and artillery from October 5 to October 6. Twenty-seven settlements came under fire, including Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Zmiivka, and Kizomys.

The occupants targeted residential areas, critical and social infrastructure. The shelling damaged an apartment building, two private houses, an outbuilding and several cars.

The shelling killed one person and injured three others.

According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Military District Administration, yesterday Russian troops attacked the Ochakiv community five times with FPV drones and shelled the Kutsurub community twice with artillery.

One of the attacks in the village of Dmytrivka damaged an apartment building, a private house, and a power line. The shelling left more than 1,900 subscribers without electricity during the day, but the power supply has been fully restored. There were no casualties or injuries.

According to the General Staff, Russia-backed militants launched a massive missile and air strike yesterday, firing 53 missiles and carrying out 40 air strikes using 77 guided bombs. In addition, the occupiers used 1,862 Kamikaze drones and fired 2,983 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and settlements.

A day earlier, another Russian attack on Kherson region resulted in nine people being injured, including two children. Eight multi-story buildings and twelve private houses were damaged, as well as a shop, outbuildings, garages, cars, agricultural machinery, and gas pipelines.

From October 3 to 4, the Russian army again conducted massive strikes in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, using drones, aircraft, and artillery. Dozens of settlements came under fire, damaging housing and infrastructure, and injuring eight people.

Last week, Kherson region suffered 2,276 drone attacks by Russian troops, including 659 within the Kherson city community alone. At the same time, the Ukrainian military destroyed 1850 enemy drones.
