One killed and 17 wounded in Kherson region due to Russian attacks

Over the past day, Kherson and 36 settlements of the region have been under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery fire.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian military hit critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The attacks damaged five high-rise buildings and seven private houses. The occupiers also damaged an administrative building, a gas pipeline, an educational institution and private cars.

As a result of Russian aggression, one person was killed and 17 others were injured. In addition, three people were evacuated from the liberated communities of Kherson region yesterday.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on May 26, the Russian army attacked the region with rocket and cannon artillery, mortars, and drones. Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, pre-trial investigations into the commission of war crimes have been launched.

As of 5:30 p.m., one person was reported dead and six wounded as a result of Russian strikes.

Thus, a 49-year-old local resident was fatally injured as a result of artillery shelling of Mykilske.

In Kherson, five people were injured in an artillery strike on a residential area. Another civilian in the regional center was injured as a result of a Russian drone attack.

Prosecutors together with investigators continue to record the consequences of the shelling and document war crimes committed by the Russian military.

Recently, the Russian military attacked a hospital in Bilozirka, Kherson region, with artillery and FPV drones. The shelling injured two nurses and a staff member, and damaged the hospital building and residential buildings.

Also, on May 24, in Kherson , Russian troops launched an artillery attack on the territory of a market in the Dniprovsky district of the city. The attack killed two people and injured seven other civilians.

Earlier, Intent wrote that Russian troops have used more than 12 thousand drones in the Kherson sector since the beginning of May. The biggest threat to Ukrainian defenders today is the attack drones, which the enemy is using en masse.
