In Odesa, a man was tried for disclosing confidential information related to mobilization activities and the placement of checkpoints in the city.

The verdict was passed by the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa.

According to the case file, the accused is a citizen of Ukraine, a native of the village of Burlacha Balka, Chornomorsk district.

The defendant fully pleaded guilty, stating that he did not realize criminal liability for his actions.

Taking into account the defendant's remorse, his voluntary donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of UAH 50,000 and other mitigating circumstances, the court sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment with the possibility of a suspended sentence. The prosecutor also filed a motion for a special confiscation of the mobile phone that was the instrument of the crime.
