The Baltskyi District Court of Odesa Region approved a plea agreement between a resident of the region and the prosecutor, under which the man pleaded guilty to manufacturing, distributing communist and Nazi symbols and propaganda of the communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes.

As stated in the court's verdict, the man was sentenced to one year and two months in prison, although he was released from punishment by replacing his actual imprisonment with probation for one year.

The convicted person used the Odnoklassniki network, which was blocked in Ukraine on purpose, to distribute a greeting card in the form of a photo with the title "1941-1945 Happy Victory Day", which contained communist symbols, In particular, the front side of the card depicted a combination of a hammer and sickle in the lower left corner, which is prohibited under the Law of Ukraine "On Condemnation of Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) Totalitarian Regimes in Ukraine and Prohibition of Propaganda of Their Symbols".

On October 31, 2025, a plea agreement was concluded between the prosecutor of the Podil District Prosecutor's Office of Odesa Region and the accused.

Earlier, the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa approved a plea agreement in a case of influence peddling. A man liable for military service was offered $16 thousand to influence the adoption of the TCC and JV by officials. The man was promised to be removed from the wanted list as a person evading mobilization and to be granted a deferral from military service due to the need to provide constant care for his mother. One of the defendants in the case was given $1.3 thousand and the client's documents to prepare documents for his mother's second-grade disability. After being exposed, this group member entered into a plea agreement. The verdict states that he provided incriminating evidence against other individuals. Under the agreement, the defendant was sentenced to a fine of UAH 103 thousand.
