The Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa approved a plea agreement in the case of influence peddling.

This was reported by the Court Reporter publication with reference to the verdict of October 30.

According to the case, in the first decade of February 2025, five citizens, including an inspector for military registration and reservation of the territorial center for manning and social support and a serviceman of the Center for Service Support of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, agreed to commit a corruption crime together.

The man was offered $16,000 to influence the adoption of the TCC and JV by officials. The man was promised to be removed from the wanted list as a person evading mobilization and to be granted a deferral from military service due to the need to constantly care for his mother.

The group's accomplice received a portion of the money from her husband, $12,000 in two tranches. The accomplices managed to divide the money among themselves.

One of the defendants in the case was given $1,300 and the client's documents to prepare documents for his mother's second-grade disability. After being exposed, this group member entered into a plea agreement. The verdict states that he provided incriminating evidence against other individuals. Under the agreement, the defendant was sentenced to a fine of 103 thousand hryvnias.

In Odesa region, a man attacked a representative of a territorial center when he asked to see his documents. The court found him guilty and sentenced him. The incident occurred in April this year. The soldier asked the man to show his documents, but he started arguing, pulled out a Teren 4M gas canister and sprayed it in the face of the senior soldier. The victim suffered chemical burns to his eyes.
