Journalists of the website Vstup.OSVITA.UA have compiled a ranking of private higher education institutions by the number of people enrolled in education at the expense of individuals and legal entities (contract), which is headed by Odesa International Humanitarian University.

According to the website, in 2024, this university admitted 785 applicants.

These are all persons enrolled in the first year of study at the expense of individuals and legal entities to obtain a bachelor's degree (master's degree in medicine, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine) on the basis of complete general secondary education (11th grade) in full-time and part-time forms of study.

The ranking includes only private higher education institutions in Ukraine. And there are no more Odesa institutions in the top five:

However, there are still other higher education institutions in Odesa in the ranking:

Odesa Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management - 48 applicants and 46th place, Odesa Technological University "SHAG" - 27 applicants and 74th place, Danube branch of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management - 15 applicants and 99th place and 129th place was taken by the Rear Admiral Fedir Ushakov Maritime Institute of Postgraduate Education - one applicant.

The ranking also includes universities in Mykolaiv region:

Meanwhile, members of the Odesa City Council decided that all educational workers in Odesa will receive additional payments on a monthly basis.
