Over the past day, Russian troops continued their massive attacks on populated areas in the Kherson region. More than 30 settlements in the region came under enemy drone attacks and artillery shelling, including Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Chornobaivka, Antonivka, Stanislav, Komyshany, and Tyahynka.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to him, Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. As a result of the attacks, three high-rise buildings and 15 private homes were damaged.
In addition, the occupiers destroyed the “Point of Indomitable Spirit,” a cell tower, an agricultural enterprise, and private vehicles.
According to the regional military administration, one person was killed and seven others were wounded as a result of the Russian aggression.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office specified that the deadly shelling occurred around 6:00 p.m. in Kherson. A 47-year-old man was killed as a result of a strike from a multiple-launch rocket system.
Additionally, five local residents were injured in the regional capital as a result of artillery shelling. Law enforcement officials have launched a pre-trial investigation into the attacks under the article on war crimes.
Prosecutors and investigators continue to document the consequences of Russian shelling and gather evidence of yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation’s armed forces in the Kherson region.
Recently, six people were killed and another 26 wereinjured—including one child—as a result of Russian aggression in the Kherson region.
In addition, Russian forces attackeda hospitalin Bilozirka, Kherson Oblast, with artillery and FPV drones. Two nurses and a hospital employee were injured in the shelling, and the hospital building and nearby residential buildings were damaged.
Earlier, Intent reported that Russian troops have used more than 12,000drones on the Kherson front since early May. Strike drones, which the enemy is deploying en masse, currently pose the greatest threat to Ukrainian defenders.
