Occupants hit a high-rise building in Kherson: one dead and one injured

In Kherson region, a woman was killed and dozens of people were injured as a result of Russian strikes. More than three dozen settlements of the region, including Beryslav, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Komyshany, Stanislav, Novovorontsovka and the city of Kherson, came under enemy drone terror and artillery fire.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, the attacks hit critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The attacks damaged 11 multi-story buildings and 25 private houses, an outbuilding, a gas pipeline, agricultural machinery and private cars.

According to the regional military administration, 19 people, including one child, were injured as a result of the Russian aggression. Seven residents were also evacuated from frontline communities in the region.

In turn, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported that as of 5:30 p.m. on June 2, they had 10 people wounded in Russian attacks. A 16-year-old girl was among the injured. Three civilians were injured during artillery shelling of Kherson and Bilozerka. Another seven people were injured by enemy drone attacks in Kherson and Vysoke village.

In addition, law enforcement officers are investigating another war crime committed by the Russian military, which resulted in the death of a civilian. According to the investigation, at around 23:30, a Russian drone attacked a multi-story building in Kherson.

An 86-year-old woman died as a result of the strike. Three local residents sustained injuries of varying severity, and three more people suffered carbon monoxide poisoning. All of them were in their apartments at the time of the attack.

Also, according to law enforcement officials, on the morning of June 3, at about 04:00, the Russian military struck a residential building in Kherson with a drone.

As a result of the attack, three local residents were injured, including a 17-year-old boy.

Law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings over the shelling and drone attacks under the article on war crimes and continue to document the consequences of Russian aggression.
