On August 27, Novooleksandrivka, Tomyna Balka, Novodmytrivka, Beryslav, Mylove, Dudchany, Ponyativka, Havrylivka, Zmiivka, Mykilske, Sadove, Kizomys, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Tyahynka, Olhivka, Topolyne and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes in the Kherson region. During a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed one Shahed-131/136 over the region's territory.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Air Defense Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
During the shelling of the region, the Russian military hit a gas station; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 8 private houses. The occupiers also damaged an outbuilding and private and official cars.

According to Prokudin, two civilians were killed and 14 others were injured as a result of Russian aggression on August 27. Thus, on August 27, at about seven in the morning, the Russian army attacked Novooleksandrivka in Beryslav district. The village was attacked by artillery and drones. The enemy fire damaged at least three residential buildings. Two local residents who were on the street were injured when explosives were dropped from a drone. A 69-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his abdomen. A 72-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to her legs and a bruised shoulder. Both victims were taken to hospital in moderate condition for medical care. In addition, at about 06:00, the Russian military shelled Sadove. A 65-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the yard of a private household.
Earlier it was reported that the day before, one civilian was killed and 10 others were injured in the right-bank part of Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression. Thus, on August 26 in the evening in Dniprovsky district, the occupiers attacked a civilian car with a couple in it from a drone. The 68-year-old man died as a result of severe injuries. Doctors fought for his life to the last. The 59-year-old woman sustained blast trauma, contusion and arm injuries.
