The court proved that in the summer of 2022, the convicted woman, while in the temporarily occupied territory of Novotroitsk, collaborated with the enemy. She became the "director" of a seized local culture and leisure center. The woman performed organizational, administrative and economic functions, participated in numerous propaganda activities of the occupiers.

The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by the SBU investigators in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that a local resident was suspected of persuading residents of Burhunka in Kherson region to "vote" for joining Russia. According to the investigation, the 66-year-old suspect voluntarily joined an illegitimate "precinct election commission" that operated on the territory of Burgunka, Beryslav district. The woman took part in the organization and conduct of a pseudo-referendum organized by the occupation authorities, which took place in September 2022.

It was also said that the "head" of the occupation administration of Novosofiyivka would be tried in Kherson region.
