Nine explosions in one night: occupants hit critical infrastructure in Podilsk

A racist army attacked Podilsk in the Odesa region, causing explosions and blackouts. Residential buildings were damaged as a result of the attack.

According to media reports, the Russian army attacked critical infrastructure facilities. As a result of the strikes, Podilsk lost power and water, and some residential buildings were damaged. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.

The air alert in the region was announced at 02:02. According to the Air Force, the strike UAVs were flying from the Black Sea to Odesa region, to the village of Pivdenne. The first explosions occurred at around 03:37 - at least nine were recorded. The alert was lifted shortly afterward.

The Podilsk city community reported that emergency and utility services are already working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. Residents whose homes were damaged were advised to contact management companies, senior centers or neighborhood watch.

Ukrzaliznytsia also informed about the delay of two trains due to the situation in the region:

On October 24, Russian troops struck civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region for the first time with three extended-range guided missiles launched from a Su-34 aircraft. Southern air defense forces destroyed two of the bombs, while the third fell in the open, causing no damage or casualties.

Two days earlier, on the night and morning of October 22, the Russian army launched a massive attack on the southern regions and Kyiv. Deaths and injuries were reported in the capital, and damage to energy and port infrastructure in the Odesa region.

During the nighttime shelling on October 12 in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, a power facility was damaged and the canteen building of a recreation center was destroyed, where a fire broke out. The explosions also damaged a two-story administrative building, a hotel, and several private houses nearby. A 34-year-old woman was wounded in the attack and hospitalized with injuries from a private residence.
