State environmental inspectors of the Southwestern District estimated the consequences of the Russian attack on December 31 at almost UAH 8 million.
This was reported by the press service of the inspection.
The inspectors examined the places where enemy ammunition hit on Lustdorfska Road and Transportna Street and found 252 square meters of territory mined.
On the night of December 31, Russians attacked the residential, logistics and energy infrastructure of Odesa region. As a result of hits in one of the residential buildings, fires broke out in apartments from the second to the sixth floors. The facade on the fifth and sixth floors was partially destroyed. Firefighters rescued eight people, including one child. Mobile resilience centers from the State Emergency Service and the city council have been deployed.
According to preliminary information, six people were injured, including three children. The facades and glazing of several multi-storey residential buildings were also damaged. Civilian cars were damaged by the fire. The State Emergency Service involved 24 vehicles and 83 firefighters. The Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ukraine sent one piece of equipment and four personnel.
On the night of December 31, Russians attacked Ukraine with 127 Shahed, Gerber and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense defenses neutralized 101 enemy Shahed, Gerber and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country. The air defense recorded hits of 20 attack UAVs at 11 locations.
On the afternoon of December 31, the Russian army attacked Odesa region with two X-31P anti-radar missiles from the Black Sea. According to the military, on December 31, 7 reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed in the south: three ZALAs, two Supercam, and one Orlan-10 and one Merlin-BP. And on the night of January 1, air defense shot down two "Shaheeds".
