New trolleybus routes approved at the executive committee in Mykolaiv

On August 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., a meeting of the Executive Committee of the City Council was held in Mykolaiv. The agenda included the issue of amending the decision on eliminating the dangerous consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, reforming housing and communal services, social and humanitarian assistance.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.

The executive committee considered 89 issues, including the issue of granting permission to bury the remains, approving the act of acceptance and transfer of property from the joint ownership of territorial communities of villages and towns of Mykolaiv district to the communal property of Mykolaiv city community. The issue of dismantling a number of temporary structures was also considered.

The agenda includes improvements to municipal infrastructure and utilities. They discussed the settlement of issues related to the removal of green spaces, mechanized street cleaning, as well as the approval of the procedure for repair and modernization of elevators and housing stock on a co-financing basis. In addition, the agenda includes changes to the network of routes and stops of urban electric transport.

The decision on the priority of technical works aimed at eliminating the dangerous consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation was approved. In particular, a site for temporary storage of waste from the destruction, including sorting, processing, and temporary storage of recycled waste from the destruction, will be set up. It was also decided to create two new trolleybus routes in the city. The first one, number 11 (Aivazovskoho Street), will run from Korabelnyi district along the Bypass Street and return to the center of Korabelnyi district. The second one, number 12 (Aivazovskoho Street), will connect Kulbakyne with the center of the Korabelnyi district.

On July 23, the executive committee of the council approved an updated list of territorial specialized civil protection services at the local level. The goal is to improve the work of the city's link of the territorial subsystem of the unified state civil protection system. According to Serhiy Zhmur, acting head of the Department of Emergency Situations and Civil Protection of Mykolaiv City Council, the decision was made due to changes in legislation and was supported by the SES and regional authorities.
