The Recovery and Development Office has launched a new project called the Mykolaiv Entrepreneurs Support Window. The goal of the project is to increase the competitiveness of local businesses.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Development Agency.

The initiative will serve as a tool for developing support programs, improving entrepreneurial skills, and facilitating access to grants and funding.

Thus, entrepreneurs will receive free information and consulting services, a telegram community, access to information about grants, and training support.

The project initiators also plan to provide support in finding grant programs, give advice on how to get them, and help in writing grant applications.

According to project manager and SME development expert Oleh Feshchenko, the Mykolaiv Entrepreneurs Support Window initiative is important for stimulating the development of small and medium-sized businesses. It not only provides access to financial resources, but also creates a platform for sharing knowledge and supporting entrepreneurs at all stages of their business.

A new wave of grants for microbusinesses has also been launched with the financial support of the European Union and the German Government. As part of this wave, 100 entrepreneurs from the de-occupied and war-affected territories will be able to receive grant money. Thus, Mykolaiv entrepreneurs will also be able to receive a €5,000 grant from EU4Business to restore their business.

The first regional Made in Ukraine office in the region to support small and microbusinesses in the region was opened in Mykolaiv in July this year.

Here, current and future entrepreneurs will be able to get professional advice, assistance in preparing documents for grants and participation in other government grant programs to support business, and learn about regional programs and projects that can be used in parallel.

In the south of the country, more than 19 thousand new entrepreneurs have started a business. In total, almost 194 thousand new individual entrepreneurs were registered in the first eight months of 2024. In the Mykolaiv region, 5096 entrepreneurs have opened their businesses.
